It takes great courage to talk about God and Faith in today's society and I have explained to our kids that as they head to college, their Faith and Belief will be tested. Good morning Mr. Harvey. I often hear you speak of what we would have done if we knew the obstacles that lay ahead. Most of us would turn back or not veture on to see how successful we could become. I was told early in my career that I was not a strong teacher, I lost almost everything I owned in Hurricane Katrina, I have been homeless three times, and lost my father and brother just weeks before Christmas. However, when He sees you and blesses you, it is amazing. What He saw in me was Teacher of the year (this year), being the father my dad was to me and my brother (blessed with two sons), and homeowner (closed on my 1st house yesterday). Though we go through many things He keeps us and sustains us as long as we stay the course and keep the faith. Many times I wanted to give in but if I had then the blessings made for me would not exist. Thank you for reminding us how awesome He is to you because I know how awesome He has been for me!
