This right here is one of the biggest lessons I ever had to learn the hard way: ain’t nobody comin’ to rescue you.

I know, I know. That ain’t what some of y’all wanna hear first thing in the morning. But it’s the truth.

You are your own superhero.

See, we been conditioned to wait on folks. Wait on somebody to see our value. Wait on somebody to give us an opportunity. Wait on somebody to save us from our circumstances. Nah. That’s a fantasy. Real life? You gotta be the one to save you.

Now, I ain’t sayin’ people won’t help you along the way. Of course they will. God’ll send you blessings through people. But the first move? That’s always on YOU. You gotta pick up the pen. You gotta call the shots. You gotta step into the scene like you own the studio.

Every day, you got a chance to rewrite your story.

I don’t care what chapter you on. I don’t care what mistakes you made yesterday. The beautiful thing about life? God wakes you up with a blank page. You get to decide what’s gon’ go on it today.

So today? I want you to stop sittin’ in the audience of your own life. Be the author. Be the director. And baby, be the STAR. You got the lead role. You got the mic. You got the spotlight. You just gotta stop givin’ it away to fear, to excuses, to people who ain’t even paid to be in your show.

Don’t wait on perfect conditions. Don’t wait on applause. Show up and show out with what you got, right where you are.
