Forty years in this business, and I’ve stood on a lot of stages. I’ve made people laugh till they cried, cried myself a few times, too. But one thing I know for sure — no moment, no spotlight, no success has ever meant more to me than the day I found her.

So today ain’t just another birthday shout-out. This right here is me giving thanks — to God, to love, and to the woman who truly saved my life.

Marjorie… girl, where do I even start? You came into my life at a time when I was trying to rebuild, trying to figure out what “peace” really felt like. You didn’t just stand beside me — you stood me back up.

You saw something in me that I didn’t even see in myself anymore. You reminded me who I was, whose I was, and what love could look like when it’s real, steady, and covered in prayer. That’s a rare kind of love right there. That’s the kind of love that saves you.
