Some Prayers Don’t Get Answered Fast—And That’s On Purpose | Steve Harvey Says…
Some of the best prayers you’ll ever pray don’t get answered fast.
Let me talk to you for a minute.
Some of the best prayers you’ll ever pray
don’t get answered fast.
And I know that’s hard to hear—
especially when you’re tired,
especially when you’ve been patient,
especially when you’ve done everything you know how to do.
But listen to me closely.
Sometimes the delay ain’t denial.
Sometimes the delay is development.
You asking God for something big.
Something life-changing.
Something that would shift your whole future.
And God is saying,
“I hear you…
but I’m still shaping you to handle it.”
See, we pray for the blessing,
but we don’t always pray for the capacity.
We want the breakthrough,
but we don’t always want the discipline that comes with it.
We want the platform,
but we don’t always want the pressure.
Because here’s the truth nobody likes to talk about:
Blessings come with weight.
More money comes with more responsibility.
More influence comes with more scrutiny.
More success comes with more temptation.
More favor comes with more eyes on you.
And if God gave it to you too early,
it could break you instead of bless you.
That’s why some prayers take time.
Not because God forgot.
Not because God ignoring you.
But because God loves you too much
to give you something you’re not ready to sustain.
