The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation Help Rebuild The Grand Bahama Children’s Home
The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation partnered with Coach Stormy to donate $75,000 to help rebuild the Grand Bahama Children’s Home after the destruction of Hurricane Dorian!
Sheila Johnson-Smith has been a pillar of the community for 42 years, providing a safe place for the orphaned boys and girls of Freeport, Bahamas at the https://www.gbchildrenshome.com.
On September 1, 2019, Sheila and her team were tested when the Children’s Home was ravaged by Hurricane Dorian.
Under Gods covering, everyone made it to safety, but the building was decimated and the children lost everything.
We applaud Shelia for her leadership and dedication to children … for that reason, The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation honored Shelia Johnson-Smith with the 2019 Harvey Hero Award!
We’re hopeful that the Grand Bahama Children’s Home will be rebuilt in time to help the children get #BackInTheirBeds by Christmas!
