Wake Up Like a Boss With Steve Harvey: Detour Don’t Mean Defeat

Problems ain’t stop signs

Let me break this down—problems ain’t stop signs.
They ain’t the end of the road. They ain’t the final word.
They’re just detours.
That’s it. A little rerouting. A little redirection. But the destination? Still the same.

See, some folks hit one roadblock and they throw in the towel like that’s it.
They lose a job, and they stop chasing the dream.
They hear “no” one time, and they stop askin’.
They hit a rough patch, and they pull over and never get back on the road.

But let me tell you somethin’—every successful person you admire had to take a detour.
They had to adjust the route, reroute the GPS, keep their hands on the wheel even when the road got rough.

The key is: don’t stop driving toward your greatness.
You ain’t lost—you’re learning.
You ain’t stuck—you’re being strengthened.
You ain’t finished—you’re just getting rerouted to something better.

God might be protectin’ you from somethin’ you didn’t see ahead.
That detour? Might be the upgrade.
That closed door? Might be the redirection that leads to the right one.

So today?
Adjust your route, but don’t quit. Don’t stall. Don’t give up on where you’re headed.
The road ain’t always smooth, but your greatness is still waiting for you at the end.

Let’s keep drivin’. Let’s make it do what it do.
