   We got our tissues! LoL We have laughed with you and cried with you. We have supported you and appreciated your stand up for your country in theses times of leadership. Men that not afraid to share, acknowledge their faith and speak out for righteousness every day even with errors. Encourage all to thrive in spite of being wronged as a race or setbacks.

   I have seen this video multiple times and I cry each time. This is the first time I’ve had the courage to leave a comment. Hearing Brandi, Karlie, Lori, and his other daughter share their memories, remind me of what I didn’t have growing up. The last time I saw my sperm donor I was 22 years old. Before that, I was two. My memory of him was abusing my mom until my grandmother walked into the room and before the left, he gave me a dollar. Imagine that. The next abuser was my sibling’s father. He not only abused her, but he abused my brother and me because we were not his children. I endured that until she decided to leave him on the day of my high school graduation. I have been in relationships, but the minute I felt it was getting serious I bowed out. My last sighting of my sperm donor at 22, had me being interrogated by his sisters. When he did a couple of months after my mom passed, I got a phone call from my mom’s oldest sister informing me. Because I’d recently returned to my recruiting station after being gone for four months due to the illness of my mom, I had no intentions of attending his funeral. My name is Evonne but somehow Janet ended up being on the obituary. I know wow, I said the same thing. I know I have serious daddy issues, and I’m not sure if that is why I won’t get into a relationship that leads to marriage, but I believe that’s my problem.
   I’m sorry, I know this was supposed to be about Steve. I guess I needed to get that off of my chest.

   Thank you for sharing. This is an inspiration for many families. It gives others hope to know to that in a world where there are too many broken families that there is still a possibility of strong family bond. Mr. Harvey, continue to be the man that God has purposed for you to be. You are making a huge difference in the world. God bless you.

   Steve Harvey isn’t just a father a husband a grandfather to his family he all those things to countless others and that includes me I love to listen to the gems he drops about life positivity & how you need to get up & do something about your life I appreciate & love you Steve Harvey you are my guy thank you to your family for sharing you with the world ❤️❤️

   This bought tears to my eyes. I’m from a very small island that you Mr. Harvey have visited in the past and hopefully will visit again. I was in school in Nee York while you was here in Bermuda but would have loved to have seen you in person.
   Following your blessings and love from God, truly is a testimony that “God Changes Things. An Icon & example of a good, progressive and God fearing man/father. Wow! My heart beats with joy for an example of a true man!
