Achievement

God’s response is usually simple: “Just trust Me.”

Let me tell you something that will save you years of frustration.

Obedience Before Understanding

Let me tell you something that will save you years of frustration.

God rarely explains Himself first.

We like instructions. We like clarity. We like knowing how it’s going to work, how long it’s going to take, and what the outcome will be before we move. But faith doesn’t operate on explanations—it operates on trust.

Obedience always comes before understanding.

If God waited for you to understand everything before He asked you to move, you’d never move. Because understanding comes from experience, not anticipation. And experience only comes after obedience.

A lot of people are stuck right now because they’re asking God questions He never promised to answer upfront.

“How is this going to work?”
“Why now?”
“Why me?”
“What if I fail?”

God’s response is usually simple: “Just trust Me.”

And that’s hard. Because trusting without clarity feels irresponsible. But here’s the truth—faith is not reckless, it’s relational. You’re not trusting the situation, you’re trusting the God who sent you into it.

Think about it: every major step you’ve taken in life that actually mattered came with uncertainty. You didn’t know how it would turn out—you just knew you had to move.

God works the same way.

He gives direction in pieces so you stay dependent on Him. If He gave you the full picture, you’d try to do it without Him. You’d rely on logic instead of faith. Control instead of obedience.

But God wants relationship, not just results.

So sometimes He says, “Step first.”
Then clarity comes.
Then confirmation comes.
Then peace follows.

Not before.

If you’re waiting to understand everything before you obey, you’re going to wait a long time. But if you obey first, understanding will catch up.

God is not asking you to figure it out.
He’s asking you to follow.

And today, that’s the reminder:

Obey first.
Understanding comes later.
I’m on whatever God on.
