Moments in Black History | Claudette Colvin

You know the story of Rosa Parks. But have you heard of Claudette Colvin?

On March 2, 1955, Claudette was arrested at the age of 15 in Montgomery, Alabama for refusing to give up her seat to a white woman on a crowded, segregated bus. She refused to give up her seat on a bus months before Rosa Parks’ more famous protest. Today we celebrate Claudette Colvin with Moments in Black History.
