Faith doesn’t make it easy, faith makes it possible! Your success is tied to your relationship with God. YOU HAVE TO TALK TO GOD OFTEN! Talk to God every day, even if you think you aren’t perfect. You don’t have to be in the same faith that I believe in, you don’t have to call God what I call God… but listen to me, you do have to call him. This is your key, quit tripping yourself out, don’t forget to pray!
We are all created in God’s image. When you take a chance on you, you’re taking a chance on God! We are all born with a gift at birth, use your gift appropriately in life! Your gift will make room for you! Darrius Simmons recently appeared on the #SteveTVShow, he was born with only four fingers. Darrius taught himself to play piano from YouTube, in high school he was invited to play piano at Carnegie Hall! That’s how you use your gift! That’s a perfect example of your gift making room for you!
When the alarm clock goes off in the morning and you’re not happy about it, you aren’t doing what you want to do. Are you happy when it’s time to go to work? If you’re unhappy, you aren’t living in your gift. Bishop T.D. Jakes said, “I would hate to die and never do the thing that I was born to do…” Now is the time to re-evaluate, are you walking in your purpose? Are you living in your gift? Think about that! If you want to be successful, get a hold of your negative thinking and measure where you are based on where you came from. Don’t ever measure yourself against someone else’s success.
God really wants to help us, but he requires that we have a relationship with him. If you’re out here trying to make it without God, you are making life harder than it needs to be. There is a higher power, there is a God. It’s time to get in touch with God.
It’s like driving a car looking in the rear-view mirror. That just doesn’t work. If you have someone that has wronged you and you’re carrying that around… That’s like cancer, let it go. If you have something that’s bothering you, move past it. God has something better for you but you have to let everything else go.
I grew up poor but I always imagined big things. My momma would buy a travel magazine once a month just so I could see the places that we couldn’t travel to. I thank God that my mother planted that seed. When I first started out in this business, I wanted to make sure that I could take care of my parents. I did exactly that. Everything in your imagination can come true for you. You just have to believe it!
This reminds me of the scripture, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” God will seed your imagination with something that is just for you. Ever wonder why you’ve told someone a dream and they shot it down completely? Because God gave it to you, and you only. It wasn’t meant to be shared. Protect what God puts in your imagination.
I was going to give up and walk away from this business and never look back. A lot of you know my story, I was homeless and living out of a car for three years before I got my first break. It’s really important that you hear this message, I know that a lot of you are experiencing “turn back” moments and you need to push forward. God has something for you, it’s not the time to turn back. Now is the time to keep pushing.
