Old School Swagger, New School Tailoring

📍 Steve Harvey Style

Y’all already know I don’t play when it comes to my suits. I’ve always believed a man should dress like he’s got somewhere to be—even if he’s just goin’ to get a cup of coffee. But lately? We takin’ it back. I’m talkin’ real old school—1960s, 1970s Italian and Hollywood glam—back when suits meant something.

The moment I laid eyes on this custom Amiri suit, I knew we had a winner. My man Elly—my stylist and creative partner—knew exactly what I was lookin’ for. I told him I wanted that quintessential old school suit to make a comeback on stage this season. And he brought it to life, baby!

Let me break it down for you:

  • We got the 6-inch curved peak lapel.
  • The 6-on-2 double-breasted jacket with low button placement (that means you button it low, not high like some off-the-rack thing).
  • A longer sports coat that gives that smooth, powerful silhouette.

But we ain’t just throwin’ on a relic from the past—we upgraded it. Elly made sure the padding on the shoulders is lighter than that heavy old school frame, so I can move. Under the arms, around the waist—everything is tailored down to the T, fitted like a glove.

Now the pants? Oh, you see them.

That bell bottom ain’t just for show. It’s shaped to lead the stride. That’s a leading man walk, right outta “The Godfather” or “The Goodfellas.” When I step, I don’t just walk in a room—I arrive.

This ain’t about fashion. It’s about presence. And when you wear a suit like this, you ain’t just gettin’ dressed—you tellin’ the world who you are without even speakin’.
