I’ve had a lot of downs in my life. How did I keep the faith?
1. I know from living that if you quit, whatever you’re trying to accomplish – if you quit that’s a guaranteed failure.
2. Make sure that your dreams, your aspirations, and goals are so big that it wakes you up in the middle of the night.
I’ve never wanted anything regular, I have always wanted to have an exceptional life. Condition your mind, being successful requires it.
Behind every moment of adversity in your life, two things will happen. There is a lesson and a blessing. Every moment of adversity has those two things that come with it. My moment of adversity brought back 10 fold. That’s why you have to ride out bad moments in your life. Cause God always has a gift, behind every moment of pain you have.
Don’t let the devil rob you of your destiny. Get focused!
If you can just keep hope alive, you can make it!
The way to find purpose is you must identify what it is that you have to be purposeful in. Identify your gift.
Quit letting people tell you the route to success when clearly God created you to be different.
We are all participating in this thing called life. Stop expecting everything to go smooth, cause it ain’t. The road to success is always under construction. The one way to combat discouragement is with gratitude, it’s a serious principle to success.
When you have massive goals, you must first make it something that not reaching it is unacceptable. You have to set incremental goals along the way. Remember this saying “inch by inch, anything’s a cinch.”
I have failed far more times than I have succeeded. You will never succeed more than you fail… That’s just not how it works. I’ve pitched more than 200 show ideas in Hollywood, out of those 200 they have picked 5 in 33 years of pitching. They don’t write about the shows that didn’t get picked, just the hits. So when you fail, it’s a part of the process. Keep going, you’re supposed to fail. Who you know that gets it right all the time? That’s impossible. Every time you fail, your one step closer to your goal.
